Solar Energy Assessment and Style in Lebanon County Pennsylvania

Picture standing on your rooftop on a crisp Lebanon County Pennsylvania early morning, sunshine cascading through the clouds, and wondering how to harness that golden energy efficiently. Among the trickiest aspects of solar installation is creating a system that works perfectly with your special residential or commercial property. Misjudging roof angles, shading from trees, or even local weather patterns can turn what need to be a tidy energy win into squandered capacity.

Lumina Solar PA comprehends how the particular landscape and environment of Lebanon County Pennsylvania impact solar performance. This is not almost slapping panels on a roof; it's about crafting a bespoke option that consider:

  1. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Jason H: This review is long overdue, as our install was in Sept 2023. We worked with Chris Richardson throughout the process and he took his time to answer a ton of questions. We had panels installed on a new build, and they worked with us to send someone out to measure all the rooflines since maps did not have images of the roof yet. We also did not have a full year of electric bills, so Chris was patient enough to wait on us a few months after we initially spoke so we could get 6 months worth of usage, then extrapolate the rest. We have now had the system for a complete 12 months and I am happy to say that it has produced slightly more than it was projected for, which we are happy with, as that gives us room to grow. I mainly bring this up because the projected system size was pretty much spot on… We've heard some horror stories about systems not being sized properly, but that's not the case here. As an additional note, we had a whole house generator setup after we got the panels installed, so we had to get a couple techs to come back out after the fact to re-work the wiring in our panel (note we paid for the service call and expected to). We reached out to Chris and he helped get us in touch with the right folks at Lumina to make that happen. All in all the customer service was what you would hope for, and the main reason we chose to go with Lumina.
  2. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Matthew Cawthorne: I was really excited with the idea of getting a rooftop PV system, and Lumina had really good reviews. Their price was nearly identical to another very highly rated company in my area and I liked the look of the REC panels so we went with Lumina. During the initial sizing I proposed a symmetric configuration that was pleasing to the eye and was told 'we can discuss the exact configuration during the engineering phase'. Well, I was never contacted until all of the approvals were complete and at that point it was too late to get the configuration that I wanted. The Lumina configuration was unsymmetric and had 1 fewer panel on the highly productive south facing roof. It was not the end of the world, but I take pride in the aesthetics of my house. In the end I was able to get them to make it symmetric, but with the one less panel in the good orientation. The biggest problem, however is that the panels on the front of the house are in a nearly ideal orientation, facing almost south, and with a roof pitch that is good for this latitude. The 400+ watt panels are oriented well enough that they should be able to generate close to 400 watts during the middle of the day (cloud cover permitting). Lumina specified and installed 300 watt inverters so those panels never produce more than 300 watts. Instead of a sine wave for production I get a curve that is clipped flat on top. 300 watt inverters are ok for the back of the house where the sun angles are not as ideal and the panels cannot produce as much power, but not for the front. So why am I giving them 4 stars? Well, their Operations department that scheduled and performed the installation did a really good job and were a delight to work with. The workmanship is really good and everything has been functioning for the first 16 months of operation. There were no surprises in the pricing.
  3. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Scott A. Walseman: This past spring I started to explore options for solar power. I spent time researching different companies and settled on Lumina Solar PA. I reached out and within a day had a return call and we discussed my solar needs. Jack Wood then worked up a solar plan and recontacted me about my options and cost. He spent time going over all the details, specs, and pricing. He also offered several options for financing. He then coordinated a roof engineer inspection. Once I made a decision to proceed the Lumina project team took over to handle all the permits, local, power company, and worked to keep the project on track. The installers were the best, really personable and ensured that any and all questions I had were addressed. They completed the install in 2 days. Final inspection was flawless. The entire experience was extremely smooth and pleasant. If you’re considering solar, you should explore Lumina Solar Pa, you won’t regret it.
  4. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by charles grebe jr: i see all the good reviews, where are the true reviews, i got nothing these people promised, i have their solar and still get big bills from met ed, opposite of what i was told, i was told they put a bigger setup on than needed and i would get money from met ed every year for what they used but instead get bills from met ed, and forget about calling salesman, he never returns calls, wish i never dealt with these people, this month, 167.00 out of my account for lumina and 144.00 bill from met ed, more than i ever paid, single man living alone
  5. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Rebecca McCracken: We had a great experience with Lumina Solar. Our project manager, Alex, guided us through the entire process and made the experience easy. Our system has been up and running seamlessly. Highly recommend Lumina Solar.

  7. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Heather Reiner: Courtney Sollenberger went above and beyond for us during our solar process. We had complications with PPL and Courtney was right there to help with the process. We had our roof replaced as well as the solar panels being installed. If we had to do the process over again we’d still choose Courtney and Lumina Solar!
  8. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Carlos Ramos: Had an excellent experience with Lumina Solar. Christopher Richardson Solar Sales Consultant was most helpful in answering my questions and concerns. The installers were very professional, and the install was done in 1 day as promised. The only delays which are beyond their control is get the Electrical Service provider out quickly enough for inspection/approval to activate. Christopher is always there to answer my questions.
  9. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Adam Galie: Great experience gave me exactly what I needed. Philip Jordan, my sales rep also followed up throughout the entire process. Philip even helped me out with after installation items that did not fall under his responsibility. This level of follow up is rare in sales.
  10. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lebanon County Pennsylvania by Jim Plenderleith: Excellent product and, service. In just one weekend , a new roof and energy independence. Profesional sales and planning, utilizing the best contractors. Start to finish, a top shelf job. My wife and I couldn't be more impressed. If your considering solar, these are the pros that will get the job done rite.
  • Sun course variations throughout the year
  • Microclimates triggered by close-by buildings and foliage
  • Optimum panel tilt and orientation to take full advantage of energy capture
  • Combination with existing electrical systems

Anecdotally, a house owner in Bucks County when believed a shaded yard disagreed for solar. Lumina's team showed how strategic positioning on an eastern roof segment could still record sufficient sunshine, turning uncertainty into excitement.

Specialist Tips for Solar Style Success

  1. Conduct a comprehensive site evaluation at various times of the day to identify shading issues.
  2. Usage advanced simulation software application to anticipate energy output over seasons, not simply warm days.
  3. Consider future tree development or neighboring construction that could modify sunlight exposure.
  4. Style for simple growth, enabling extra panels as energy needs grow.
